Rogers Arts and Culture Department Finds Temporary Home After Tornado Damage

Rogers, AR – After a devastating tornado damaged the historic Victory Theater in May 2024, the Rogers Arts and Culture Department, previously housed there, was left without a dedicated office. In response, the Rogers City Council has approved a lease for temporary office space at 2522 Pinnacle Hills Parkway, Suite 100. The arrangement provides a stable base for the department until the Victory Theater can be fully restored.

New Temporary Location
The council approved the lease with Great Southern Bank of Springfield, Missouri, which will begin on October 24, 2024, and continue through October 31, 2025. The new location at Pinnacle Hills Parkway gives the Arts and Culture Department a much-needed space to continue their operations, community engagement, and cultural programming.

“This temporary relocation is vital to sustaining our arts initiatives,” said a city official. “The tornado’s impact was challenging, but this space allows us to keep moving forward until the Victory Theater is ready.”

Looking Forward to the Theater’s Restoration
City officials remain committed to restoring the Victory Theater, a cherished cultural landmark. However, they emphasize that having a stable location is essential for continuity in services and public outreach. As recovery efforts progress, the department will keep the community updated on the Victory Theater’s restoration.
