Comprehensive Plan Review: City Evaluates Development Goals for 2025
ROGERS, Ark. – The Rogers Planning Commission is conducting its first annual review of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan, assessing whether current policies are guiding development in the right direction.
As part of the review, commissioners will discuss five Future Land Use Map amendments, including adjustments to zoning categories, industrial development zones, and neighborhood classifications.
The plan, adopted last year, aims to balance economic growth with environmental and infrastructure concerns. Key questions under consideration include:
Are new zoning policies promoting sustainable growth?
How should Rogers respond to shifting market demands?
Are amendments necessary to accommodate population increases and business expansion?
