72-Unit 9th Street Townhome Project Expands Housing Options

Rogers, AR – A significant housing development at the future intersection of South 9th Street and West Linda Lane was approved, marking a step forward for Rogers' residential growth. The 9th Street Development will bring 72 townhome and duplex units, incorporating both 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom layouts across a 7.98-acre site.

The project aligns with the Comprehensive Growth Map’s vision for a Neighborhood area, where low- to medium-density residential uses coexist with community-oriented spaces like schools and resource centers. Key details include:

  • Street and Alley Design: New streets and alleys will enhance connectivity.

  • Diverse Housing Options: The mix of unit sizes caters to families and young professionals seeking affordable homes.

Concerns about infrastructure readiness were addressed during the review process. The project complies with the pre-2024 Rogers Code of Ordinances and includes conditions for final approval, such as meeting water utility and sewer requirements.

“This development is a win for our growing population, providing much-needed housing diversity,” said a commission representative. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2025.
