Bentonville Launches Active Transportation Advisory Board
In a move toward improving alternative transportation options, the Bentonville City Council has approved the creation of an Active Transportation Advisory Board. The new board will focus on expanding and enhancing the city’s biking and pedestrian infrastructure, aligning with the city's goal to offer residents safer, more accessible routes for non-vehicular travel.
This board will play a key role in supporting Bentonville’s ongoing projects under the Connecting Bentonville Plan, which aims to reduce traffic congestion by providing robust alternatives to driving. The city’s commitment to active transportation is clear, with increasing investments in trails, bike lanes, and pedestrian pathways aimed at improving overall mobility and quality of life for residents.
