Bentonville Extends Contract with Ozark Tennis Academy for Tennis and Pickleball Services
BENTONVILLE, AR – The Bentonville City Council has approved a resolution authorizing the city to enter into an extended agreement with Ozark Tennis Academy (OTA) to continue providing tennis and pickleball services for Bentonville Parks and Recreation.
The partnership, initially established in 2021 through a competitive bidding process (RFP 21-59), allows OTA to oversee programming at Memorial Park and Citizens Park. The contract was structured as a one-year agreement, renewable annually for up to five years. This marks the fourth renewal, reflecting the city's continued confidence in OTA’s ability to deliver high-quality tennis programming.
A Growing Program with Economic Impact
In 2024, OTA facilitated more than 3,500 lessons and programs, as well as eight tournaments, generating over $295,000 in revenue. As one of the largest recreational programs in Bentonville, the initiative has seen steady growth, prompting city officials to anticipate a total program value of $300,000 in 2025.
Notably, funding for the program is entirely supported by participant registration fees, ensuring no additional burden on the city’s general budget.
