New Downhill Bike Park Proposed for Bella Vista

BELLA VISTA, Ark. – The Bella Vista trail network could soon welcome a downhill bike park, as a large-scale development proposal is under review for a site near 5 Oldham Drive.

The proposed Oz Trails Bike Park, spearheaded by applicant Taylor Lindley of Crafton Tull, would add a dedicated mountain biking facility to the region, further solidifying Bella Vista’s reputation as a premier biking destination.

However, the project is requesting waivers for pedestrian accommodations and parking facility design, sparking discussions about accessibility and infrastructure support for the anticipated increase in riders.

Bella Vista has become a hotspot for mountain biking in recent years, with hundreds of miles of interconnected trails drawing riders from across the country. A downhill park would cater specifically to gravity-oriented riders, potentially bringing new tourism revenue and outdoor recreation opportunities.
