Budget Amendment for Bella Vista Development
Bella Vista, AR – The Bella Vista City Council has approved a significant budget amendment to enhance the city’s Community Development Services Department. During the recent work session, the council passed a resolution amending the 2024 city budget by $95,000. This amendment facilitates the addition of one full-time planning staff member and one full-time civil engineering intern.
The decision comes in response to Bella Vista’s rapid growth and increasing development projects. The new hires will assist with ongoing and future planning projects, including non-single-family home developments, planned unit developments, and long-range planning updates.
