Bella Vista has a New Tanyard Creek Facility on the Horizon

At the September 16, 2024, Bella Vista City Council meeting, an ordinance will be reviewed regarding an application submitted by the Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association (POA) for a private club alcohol permit. The permit, if approved, will allow the sale of alcohol at the new Tanyard Creek Practice Facility, located at 10 Nature Trail Lane, Bella Vista, Arkansas.

The Tanyard Creek Practice Facility is currently under construction and is expected to serve as a hub for recreational activities within the Bella Vista community. The POA's request for the private club alcohol permit aligns with the development of the facility, aiming to offer additional amenities for club members and visitors.

Course Description
The Tanyard Creek Practice Center features a driving range with twenty-eight uncovered and eight covered hard surface stations, which are heated for cold weather practice. In addition to the range, the center boasts a golf simulator, grass tee surface, putting green, and practice areas with bunkers and chipping stations. Golfers can also enjoy XM music for entertainment while practicing.

The facility offers a wide selection of golf equipment, including putters, bags, and clubs, available for purchase. It is an ideal place to improve your game, whether through individual lessons with PGA Teaching Professionals or participation in the Get Golf Ready programs. Tanyard Creek also provides club fitting services, utilizing the latest technology in two indoor bays to customize clubs for each golfer's unique swing. The center's offerings support players of all ages and skill levels.

Centrally located, Tanyard Creek is designed to be a go-to destination for golf enthusiasts looking to enhance their skills and enjoy top-notch facilities.

Situated in a C-1 Neighborhood Commercial zone, the practice facility's development was approved by the Bella Vista Planning Commission in December 2023 under the project title LSD 52143. The approval paved the way for construction, and the addition of a private club alcohol permit would further elevate the venue's experience for visitors.

As part of the City’s regulatory process, supporting documents provided by the POA will be reviewed by the Council during their work session, along with a detailed ordinance outlining the conditions of the permit. If granted, the permit will allow Tanyard Creek Practice Facility to serve alcohol under Arkansas's private club regulations, providing a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for club members and guests.

The review of this permit highlights Bella Vista’s growth as a premier recreational and residential community, with the POA continually expanding amenities to meet the evolving needs of residents and visitors.
