Rogers to Receive Over $7 Million for Environmental Sustainability Projects

The City of Rogers is set to receive more than $7 million over the next five years as part of the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) program. The funding, facilitated through the Environment Innovation Coalition, will be used to implement several sustainability initiatives, including stream and wetland restoration, land preservation, and the construction of new bicycle and pedestrian pathways.

These projects align with the city's long-term commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life by promoting open spaces and sustainable environmental practices. The funds will support the Osage/Blossom Way Creeks restoration and create new outdoor recreation opportunities for the community, contributing to both environmental health and the well-being of local residents.

This partnership between the City of Rogers, the coalition, and the EPA underscores the city’s role in leading regional environmental efforts and ensuring a greener future for all.
