New Appointments Advance Bentonville’s Vision for Growth

The Bentonville City Council made several key appointments during its December 10, 2024, meeting, reinforcing its dedication to community development and environmental stewardship.

The Tree & Landscape Advisory Committee welcomed Helen Lampkin as a new member and reappointed Jeannie McIntire and Ralph Weber to additional terms. This committee plays a crucial role in shaping Bentonville's urban landscape and promoting sustainable practices.

In another significant move, the Bentonville Utility Board saw the reappointment of Aniruddha Marathe and the addition of Aaron Boehmler. These individuals will help guide decisions on the city’s utilities, ensuring the infrastructure supports Bentonville’s rapid growth.

Additionally, Austin Bryan and Tacuma Williams joined the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, while Brady Blake was reappointed for a second term. These appointments align with the city’s goals of enhancing recreational spaces and fostering community engagement.

Mayor Orman highlighted the importance of these appointments, stating, "The dedication and expertise of these individuals are critical as we continue to shape Bentonville’s future."
