Bella Vista Advances Development Code Reform

At the August 19, 2024, work session, Bella Vista's Planning Manager Robertson, alongside representatives from Freese and Nichols, provided a mid-project update on the ongoing Development Code Reform. This reform is aimed at modernizing the city’s development regulations to better align with Bella Vista’s rapid growth and future needs. The update highlighted the progress made and the challenges faced thus far. As Robertson stated, the reform is crucial for “streamlining development processes, improving community planning, and fostering sustainable growth in Bella Vista.” The council members were engaged in the discussion, showing strong support for the efforts to bring the city's regulations up to date.
